(BEIJING, September 17) -- Two years after construction of the venue began, the last of the steel links needed in the construction of the main venue of the 2008 Games in Beijing, the "Bird's Nest," were transported to the site. On April 9, 2004, Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, showed great admiration for the "Bird's Nest" facility plan.
