The first comprehensive renovation in the Bird’s Nest since last year was carried out by National Stadium Co., Ltd to give a cleanup to the steel structure, membrane structure, the flooring, synthetic surface track, hand rails, etc. This is the first comprehensive renovation since last year. During the National Day holiday, flowerbeds will be seen on the south and west side of the stadium, and some of the passages and porches. Relevant preparation works are under way. Illuminating effect of the night sights will be used for the holiday to show the glamour of the stadium.
