在社会各界的广泛关注和支持下，为期两个月的国家体育场“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识公开征集活动于2010年1月19日截稿。

　　活动期间，“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识征集办公室通过咨询热线、邮件等方式，为应征者与鸟巢搭建了良好的沟通交流平台。

　　本次征集活动吸引了包括国内外知名设计机构、专业美术院校、民间艺术家、设计爱好者、体育事业爱好者在内的众多应征者参与。截止1月19日已收到应征作品800余份。目前，应征稿件的整理及评选工作仍在紧张进行中。“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识有望在今年上半年正式向外界推出。

　　在“无与伦比”的北京奥运会和“最伟大”的残奥会成功举办后，国家体育场“鸟巢”承担着创新运营管理体制，传承、丰富和发扬奥运精神，续写国家体育场“鸟巢”辉煌的使命。

　　为了国家体育场更好地开展经营活动，让社会公众更好地参与，现决定公开征集国家体育场“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识（下称“征集活动”），邀请杰出的设计师们以及每一位愿意为国家体育场“鸟巢”贡献智慧的朋友参加征集活动。

　　本次征集活动自2009年11月20日开始，截至2010年1月19日。征集活动的具体安排、相关文件以及其它信息，请登陆国家体育场官方网站（http://www.n-s.cn/）进行查询和下载。如有任何疑问或意见、建议，请发送电子邮件至design@nationstadium.com。

　　国家体育场“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识公开征集活动自2009年11月20日开始以来，得到了社会各界的广泛关注和支持，产生了热烈反响，应征咨询邮件络绎不绝。

　　应广大热心参与者的强烈要求，国家体育场“鸟巢”吉祥物及标识征集办公室特开通征集咨询电话010-84373100，以便进一步加强交流沟通。咨询电话将于每周一至周五9：00至17：00接待与征集活动相关的电话咨询。

　　我们相信，通过每位热心参与者的无私奉献，一定能为国家体育场“鸟巢” 设计出长久相伴的吉祥物及标识。

　　The National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) assumes the responsibility to continue the brilliance of the Bird’s Nest by innovating the venue operation management system, to inherit, enrich and carry forward the Olympic Spirit, after the “truly exceptional” Beijing Olympic Games and the “greatest ever” Paralympic Games.

　　In order to provide better environment and a better mode for the operation activities and the public participation, Bird’s Nest intends to call a design competition for the selection of the mascot & logo of the Bird’s Nest (hereinafter referred to as “Design Competition”). Bird’s Nest is now inviting all the outstanding designers and all friends, who are willing to contribute their wisdom to the Bird’s Nest, to take part in this Design Competition.

　　The Design Competition plans to commence from November 20, 2009, to January 19, 2010.
